Aim of the Madrassah/Schools
To educate and inspire young people in a friendly environment so they may become active members of our society.
-To provide learners with a balanced understanding of Islam and society.
-To help learners fulfil their Islamic duties such as prayer, obedience to elders and love for youngsters.
-To help encourage learners to develop their Islamic personality and be proud to be Muslims.
-To equip the learners with essential skills so they may contribute positively to the well-being of their local communities and wider society.
All UKIM madaris follow a professionally designed and well-formulated curriculum. The curriculum was prepared to transmit basic Islamic education and at the same time it is compatible with the school curriculum. Topics are covered age-appropriately in a fun and engaging way.
Teachers Training Sessions
As well as local events, professional teacher training events are held at Zonal level Alhamdulillah these events are very well attended by our passionate teachers and masjid leaders.
Examinations are arranged independently by UKIM with each learner having test for their age. Successful students who are awarded certificates and top positions of each level are awarded trophies at UK Islamic Mission’s Annual Conference.
Qirat/Adhan competitions are arranged to enable students to compete with each other and be rewarded for their efforts throughout the year. This year we are also having an art competition entitled ‘Muslims and Britain’.
