Sponsor a Disabled Child
Caring for a child is not only a duty of parents, in fact the society is also obliged for the task and if the child is disabled, it’s our collective responsibility to cater their needs. Because we believe every child has the right to be educated.
UK Islamic Mission collaborated with its local partners has launched this exclusive project for the special children in the rural areas of Pakistan which is known as Rural Inclusive Education Program, the mission of this project is of elevating the education in Pakistan especially in remote, deprived and rural areas, where this important issue of children are often neglected.
As a pilot project 6 spacious schools are equipped with the resource rooms to cater these special children. Teachers are trained to handle the needs of such children, doctors and psychiatrics visit them regularly to monitor the improvement in the children.
These special children are provided with care, respect, special education needs, uniforms, tuition fees, health facilities and family support.
Our goal is to educate and integrate these special children in the society and benefit from their participation. Increase awareness in the rural society about these children and work towards a Pakistan where no disabled child is denied the right to educate.
