Water & Sanitation
Waterborne diseases kill as much as 5000 children a day. Access to safe drinking water and sanitation is the key to saving millions of lives. UKIM sponsors projects to provide clean drinking water to poor communities in Asia and Africa.
Hand pumps, water tanks, facilitation in digging wells and installation of water filteration plants are some of the ways in which these communities are helped.
Whoever digs a well will receive reward for that from Allah on the day of judgement when anyone amongst jinn, men and birds drink from it.
