UKIM’s construction project goes beyond merely initiating buildings; it represents hope for the Syrian people. Our mission is to construct homes that are spacious enough to accommodate an average five-person family comfortably. These homes will be built to withstand the harsh climatic conditions of the region, including excessive heat, severe cold, flooding, heavy rains, snow, and strong winds.
The shelters are designed with the utmost care to ensure that they offer not only protection but also a sense of normality and stability. Each home will feature sufficient sound insulation, enclosed living spaces, and provisions for privacy. By using primarily brick and mortar in construction, we aim to enhance fire safety during heatwaves, a significant improvement over the temporary fabric tents currently in use.
Our ambitious project is focused on the regions of Idleb and Aleppo, specifically within the districts of Harim and Azaz. We are committed to constructing 65 durable homes as part of this ongoing initiative. This effort reflects our long-term dedication to addressing the housing crisis in these areas and providing a stable environment for displaced families.
